CyberPsych Announcements for Books, Meetings, New Sites
NYC on December 1st, 2005
Posted By: From Chaos to Closeness
Date: Monday, 14 November 2005, at 12:59 a.m.
Dear Colleagues,
I would like to let you know about a very exciting day-long workshop which is taking place in NYC on December 1st, 2005. The workshop is entitled: "From Chaos to Closeness: Working Experientially to Heal and Transform Male and Female Trauma." The presenters are Benjamin Lipton, senior faculty member of the AEDP Institute, and Ferruccio Osimo, who is the president of the International Experiential Dynamic therapy Association (IEDTA) and a practitioner of experiential dynamic therapy in Milano, Italy. Both presenters will show videotapes of their clinical work. I, Diana Fosha, will be moderator, and discussant.
The work of both presenters is deep, compelling, cutting edge, and raises many issues, which we will have ample opportunity to engage and explore. Each of the presenters will have half a day to present his ideas and work on videotape. The setting will allow and be fostering of the discussion and interaction that these issues and cutting edge work deserve.
If you are planning to come, but have not yet registered, please do so as soon as possible. Deeply sympathetic to those of you with whom I share last minute tendencies, nevertheless our planning for this workshop depends on numbers, thus we would appreciate your registering as soon as possible.
Hope to see many of you there
The description of the conference, including registration info, follows below (and I hope that I am well within the guidelines for appropriate communicative use of this listserve).
all the best,
Diana Fosha
