Psychotherapy in Italy

Psychoanalytic and cognitive psychotherapy integration.
We are "ISeRDiP" (web.tiscalinet.it/ISeRDiP), an association of psychoanalists, psychoanalitical oriented psychoterapists and cognitive-behavioural psychoterapists founded in 1986. Our last contribution is "Delusional, Cognitive and Emotional Aspects of Communication with the Psychotic Patient" in "Cognitive Therapy with Schizophrenic Patients". Eds. M. Merlo et al., Hogrefe & Huber Publishers, Seattle - Toronto - Bern - Gottingen, Copyright 2002. We have been active in the field of psychotherapy integration since more than 20 years and we would like to send informations about our recent iniziatives of interest for SEPI's members.

- School for brief integrated psychotherapy (psychoanalytic and cognitive), approved by Ministry of Education, University and Research in Italy, June 2001, 12th.
- "Dialogos" (www.dialogos-edizioni.it), a publisher company, designed to enhance theorical contents and clinical practices and the dialogue among pratictioners in the field. The first volume is "Treatise of brief integrated psychotherapy" (M.C.Gislon).
- "Ulisse and the mermaids" since 1998 October, a program of seminars on a monthly base, dealing with the same subject of integrative approach. Among the guests K. e J. Novick. A.L. Silver, C. Bollas. E. Boncinelli, L. Aron, L. Rovetta, G. Nebbiosi, M. Slavin. The next will be M. Crastnopol, P. Moneta, D. Fosha, M. Pigazzini and G.C. Zapparoli.

We would be interested in contacting people or organisations active in the field of therapy and training both in brief integrated psychotherapy, and in integrated approach for psychosis; in organizing seminars or congress in Italy on this subject and participating in similar events around the world, finally in publishing our book of articles and reciprocate with our publishing company "Dialogos".
