Dear colleagues, I would like to draw your attention to a new book of mine, intended for professionals in the field and college courses: The Integrative Helper: Convergence of Eastern and Western Traditions (Brooks/Cole, 2002). The book provides a practical integration of Eastern and Western psychologies across four levels of being: biological, behavioral, personal, and transpersonal. It includes suggestions for therapy and health from Buddhist psychology, yogic science, Chinese medicine, and ayurveda. The table of contents and preface are on my university website http://uwf.edu/psych/faculty/Mikulas.html. Free examination copies are available from the publisher if you might use it for a text.
