I started experienceing numbness in my right foot. It slowly progressed up my leg and then on to the left leg and foot. The symptoms started to progress rapidly increasing to buring sensation in my hands, face, feet and legs. I've been to the emergency room 3 times. All 3 doctors come up with something different. One said I was having an anxiety attack and prescribed Xanax. The other said it wasd probably an allergic reaction and prescribed Prednisone. The third just simply said I'm not sure what it is and gave me a shot of morphine just to relieve me from some of the pain. I've seen a neurologist who didn't seem to help much. He ordered an MRI and diagnosed me with multiple sclerosis. The MRI came back clear. It's been 3 months and some days the pain is unbearable. My face feels like someone lit a match on it. After reading some of the messages, I started to wonder if the metal brace I have could be the cause of all this.
