Is anyone aware of any research on the effects, if any, of chronic marihuana use on therapeutic alliance, in psychotherapy and/or psychoanalysis? Is such use associated with a greater likelihood of recurrence of depression? Is the risk of suicide increased by such use? I would be interested in any references or anecdotal reports. Thank you.
