The first thought that comes to my mind would be, is there any question of an underlying psychoses?
The blank stare is an indication of a deadness behind the eyes. The loss of memory is also a typical feature of a psychotic (depending on what type of memory).
Fear to be alone along with mood swings is an indication that he cannot bear to be separated from the primary object.
