Dan-
I am researching the lowering of the U.S. drinking age
at the U of IL, and I happen to know that in one
particular case there exists a small exception.
In Wisconsin the law concerning drinking alcohol
reads as follows:
A person of 18 years of age is legally permitted to
consume alcohol in regulated drinking establishments
if and only if they have the consent of and are
accompanied by a legal-binding parent or caretaker.
Obviously, this has loop wholes, but what can I say,
......their from Wisconsin.
I hope this helps.
