hi,
i'm 18 and have had 3 episodes, where after drinking, i became excessively paraniod, and wanted to self-harm, and did all sorts of freaky things like run away from my friends. i'm not sucicidal or depressed normall so i'm not sure why i behaved in such a werid manner. luckily all three times i was with friends so they took care of me and took me home. the next morning when i wake up i don't remember much of what i did and feel quite disoriented. i'm prett scared as to why this is happening. i'm not much of a drinker anyway and have no mental illness history.
i've jut started uni and am worried about how i will cope if this continues. i have not told my parents as i know they will worry (they are overseas), but am seeing a uni counsellor. she has referred me to a psychiatrist - i thought i'd do some research too, hence i'm here.
thanks
