Discussion of Alcoholism

To quote: "First why is it so important to know Why? Perhaps the answer IS the reason why! To post the last paragraph in the opening to this site.
"In general, psychoanalysts understand that the behavior of alcoholism, like any behavior, arises within a person and can be potentially understood by investigating the emotional factors that drive it. Once these emotional factors are conscious, people are better able to master them and, as a result, have a far better chance to change their lives."
Again, we put the horse behind the cart. If you put the fact, that what you THINK, is the sum result of your emotions, you begin to see, that trying to deal with the emotional side of ANY problem, is an impossible task. It's not your emotions that drive the problem as stated above, it's the thoughts, based in reason, that drives the emotions. Find the "cause" by using reason, logic, and rationality, by getting past the emotional "effects."
