Peace of Body, Peace of Mind
by Rose VanSickle
This book has a lot of good techniques
for taking control of your distressing thoughts that imprison people in
panic disorder, procrastination, anger and anxiety. I know this author
personally and she lives these principles in her daily life. They work
for her, me and many of our friends. Some of the re-programing techniques
remind my of another book that is out of print by Maxie Maultsby on Rational
Emotion Theory. I wouldn't recommend Dr. Maultsby's book it is a bit too
dry by VanSickle's book is excellent.Unfortunately Amazon doesn't carry
VanSickle's book, but you can buy it at
http://www.mindspring.com/~pljunlim
You can buy several other of Maultsby's
books, for example
Rational
Behavior Therapy
Coping
Better, Anytime, Anywhere : The New Handbook of Rational Self Counseling
