I have struggled with Bulimia since I was 17. I am now 30 and am pressently be treated for this disorder and depression by a pschiatrist. I was seeing a psychologist, but am not - I am having a problem finding a new counselor who's on my insurance. I desperately want to get better. The anti-depressants are very helpful - I would suggest that some of you who are suffering look into medication as a means of breaking through your depression in order to figure this disorder out. As far as discussion groups, does anyone know of any groups that meet in Houston, Texas; or, can anyone suggest a good therapist who works well with bulimics? Thanks and believe in a better life, free from self-laothing for all of us:)
