An Invitation to Italy

Dear colleague,

I invite you to join a fascinating group of people celebrating constructive visions of life next summer in Bari, Italy, June 14-18, 2003.

Come hear Jerome Bruner's reflections on recent developments in psychology and education. Listen to a stimulating group of leading scientists, scholars, and practitioners. Learn the latest findings on how brain and body are integrated, and how change occurs. Feel the excitement of new understandings about human emotions, relational processes, and the postmodern self. Lend your voice to dialogues about contemporary issues in psychotherapy. Share social evenings with new friends and interesting colleagues. Paper submissions are warmly welcomed. I invite you to share your experience with others. Submit a paper or propose a symposium (e.g., three brief papers coordinated by a chairperson and followed by dialogue). If your ideas or data are not yet ready for center stage, consider preparing a poster. Posters can be presented in a leisurely fashion as people stroll through a collective poster exhibit.

Please submit the title and abstract of your presentation by December 31, 2002. I encourage you to register before that date for the lowest fee. Group discounts are available. Plan to bring your family and linger. The landscapes and beaches are breathtakingly beautiful, and the culture and people are refreshingly life-giving. Come learn, teach, and enjoy with us.
